I then did a Amazon-Voidtech and I ended up doing the same. I was doing a Vanguard-Promethean and I ended up in using FT units and only the first ST unit if there is a specific combo that you have questions about, i'm sure this forum will be happy to give you lots of pointers for possible strategies you could employ.
leaning all in on race or ST or finding some kind of good balance between the two are all viable, you just have to have a decent plan for how you will do so.
